:Do you have any *personal* experience(not reading or hearing from) with any aftermarket turbo on the Z32? (like installation, driven, dyno, drag, track etc)? You seems to have a lot of "experience" and theory on aftermaket turbo on Z32. If you want to get technical about it, I'm going by hearsay since I refuse to try something that everyone says is no good. So I do go by the wisdom that others on here share. But I'm very selective of who I believe. After reading this forum for 4 years, I've gotten pretty good of figuring out whose opinions are well thought out and whose don't have much thought behind them. I trust guys like Greg Dupree, Chip, YugoBernie, Seedy, Mike Kojima, etc. I tend to not trust guys with little green "N"s next to their name or those who cannot put together a well thought-out post. Also, I look at dyno charts to see the end result. Bernie (OOparts) posted a message comparing many different turbochargers. From that great comparison you see how they stack up. In the case of the hacked T28's like this guy has, they make the power of a small turbo while having the lag of a very large turbo. In other words it's not efficient at all. Since I can already see that they're no good, I feel no need to buy a set myself. The point is that I do my research. There's no point in committing a first hand mistake when I could learn second hand to stay away from it.
